Urgent requirement: occupational health and safety officer (Ohio)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Darke County, Ohio. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Requirements: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
