Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Greensville County, Virginia. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Day to day you will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster.
