Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Clackamas County, Oregon. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
