Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Stafford County, Virginia. The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred.
