Aluminium tig welder • Cass County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cass County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
