Turning centre operator wanted in Pike County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Pike County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. You should have: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T 1+ years on the tools preferred.
