Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Enugu East, Enugu State. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Part-time with flexible hours.
