Milling machinist • Caroline County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Caroline County, Virginia. You will work in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
