Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
