Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. The job is at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
