Natural gas fitter wanted in Fairfax County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Fairfax County, Virginia. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
