Vacancy available: occupational health and safety officer (Cross River State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Bekwarra, Cross River State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
