Lorry driver — Burke County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lorry driver in Burke County, Georgia. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Current Driver CPC qualification card Full-time, day shift.
