We are recruiting: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Shelby County, Kentucky. You will work at an accident repair centre. You should have: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. 3+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
