We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Mitchell County, North Carolina. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
