Fabricator-welder — City of Radford

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in City of Radford, Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
