Reinforcement steel fixer • Trinity County, California

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Trinity County, California. You will work on a busy residential building site. Your main tasks: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
