Blocklayer wanted in Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Douglas County, Nebraska. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. On the job you will handle: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
