Safety marshal — West Northamptonshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety marshal in West Northamptonshire, England. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Six days a week, one day off.
