Bar bender and fixer — Gibson County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Gibson County, Tennessee. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
