Vacancy available: we are hiring an automobile mechanic in City and County of San Francisco, California. The job is on the workshop ramps. What we are looking for: • Own set of hand tools • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Your main tasks: • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
