Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Monroe County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
