We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Franklin County, New York. You will be based at a busy building site. On a typical shift you will apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Part-time with flexible hours.
