Fire and safety officer — McLennan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in McLennan County, Texas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
