Requirements: • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • A good head for heights and steady balance On a typical shift you will lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets.
