Great opportunity: we are hiring an appliance service engineer in Sir Powys, Wales. You will be based in a white goods retailer's service department. Requirements: • Knowledge of appliance electrical and mechanical systems • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations On a typical shift you will lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps; descale and clean condenser coils, filters and drainage systems; carry out safe isolation of mains power before opening any casing; solder and braze copper pipework on refrigeration units; reprogram and calibrate electronic control boards and displays; strip down and rebuild appliance motors, pumps and compressors.
