Urgent requirement: we are hiring a man and van mover in Borough of Stockport, England. On the job you will handle: • Secure loads in the van with ratchet straps and blankets to stop shifting in transit • Disconnect and reconnect washing machines and white goods where required • Carry boxes and heavy items up and down stairs using proper lifting technique • Carry out a walk-through inventory check before leaving each property • Use a sack truck and straps to move heavy appliances safely Requirements: • Able to lift and carry heavy furniture and boxes for a full shift • Comfortable working in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors • Careful and methodical approach to handling customers' belongings Rotating shifts.
