Slinger signaller — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Franklin County, Maine. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
