Production welder — Aroostook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Aroostook County, Maine. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
