Join our team: we are hiring a mason's helper in Martin County, North Carolina. You will be based on a residential housing site. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain You will load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days.
