Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Yankwashi, Jigawa State. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
