Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Stanton County, Nebraska. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 6+ years on the tools preferred.
