White goods technician • East Riding of Yorkshire, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a white goods technician in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. You will be based in a white goods retailer's service department. The role involves check earth continuity and insulation resistance with a PAT tester before handover; install new appliances and connect water, gas and electrical supplies; lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps; replace worn drum bearings, seals and belts on washing machines; solder and braze copper pipework on refrigeration units. What we are looking for: • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations • Own set of multimeters, hand tools and diagnostic equipment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
