Maintenance and repair technician — Oxfordshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a maintenance and repair technician in Oxfordshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and PLC systems • Vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics or electrics • Lockout/tagout and electrical safety training Day-to-day duties: • Isolate and lock out machinery before starting repair work • Weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed • Replace worn bearings, seals, belts and couplings • Align and balance rotating equipment such as fans and shafts • Diagnose and repair breakdowns on production machinery to minimize downtime Six days a week, one day off.
