Rebar installer — Southern Ijaw

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. You will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Part-time with flexible hours.
