Heavy equipment operator — Mills County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Mills County, Iowa. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
