Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Labette County, Kansas. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
