Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. You will work on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Requirements: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
