Steel erection rigger • Woodford County, Kentucky

Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Woodford County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port. You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness You will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
