Now hiring: we are hiring a roof repair specialist in Frederick County, Maryland. The job is on residential new-build sites. The role involves bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets. You should have: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
