Pastry baker wanted in City of Virginia Beach

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pastry baker in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate Six days a week, one day off.
