On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
