Solar PV technician wanted in Johnson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a solar PV technician in Johnson County, Illinois. The job is at a ground-mount solar farm. Day-to-day duties: • Fit tile hooks, in-roof mounting kits or flat-roof ballast trays • Terminate MC4 connectors and check polarity before energizing • Fit roof anchors, flashings and waterproof penetrations • Earth and bond the array in line with wiring regulations • Carry out periodic inspection and fault-finding on existing arrays • Commission the system and verify output on the inverter monitoring app You should have: • Own hand tools, torque wrench and multimeter • Driving licence for travel between installation sites • Good head for heights and comfortable on ladders and roofs Part-time with flexible hours.
