Semi-automatic welder — Sumter County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Sumter County, Georgia. You will work on a structural steel site. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
