Plastering hand wanted in City of Buena Vista

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. The job is on a busy domestic building site. On the job you will handle: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
