Commercial solar installer • Cambridgeshire, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial solar installer in Cambridgeshire, England. The job is on a school or public building roof. On the job you will handle: • Carry panels and equipment up ladders and scaffolding safely • Carry out continuity and insulation resistance tests on strings • Install string inverters, optimisers and rapid shutdown devices • Install PV modules and torque bolts to manufacturer spec • Earth and bond the array in line with wiring regulations Requirements: • Proven experience installing rooftop or ground-mount PV systems • Working at height / roof access training (e.g. IPAF, PASMA) • Able to read PV layout drawings and wiring diagrams Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
