Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Nelson County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day to day you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves.
