On a typical shift you will rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Rotating shifts.
