Construction labourer — Grenada County

Now hiring: we are hiring a construction labourer in Grenada County, Mississippi. The job is on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
