Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
